The Department of Health & Family Welfare has 3 vacancies for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Nuclear Medicine) in the Teaching Specialist sub Cadre of Central Health Service Group- “A”. The pay scale is Level-11 and the age limit is 40 years for URs and 43 years for OBCs. Applicants must have MBBS qualifications and a post-graduate degree in a relevant specialty or super-specialty. Educational Qualifications

  • MBBS graduates require qualifications from the Indian Medical Council Act’s Schedules, except licentiate degrees. Qualifications from the Third Schedule’s Part II must fulfill section 13(3).
  • Post-graduates must hold a relevant specialty or super-specialty degree from Schedule VI’s Section-A, such as MD (Nuclear Medicine), Diplomate National Board (Nuclear Medicine), MD (Radio-Therapy) plus two years in nuclear medicine, MD (Medicine) with radiation or nuclear medicine diploma, MD (Radio-Diagnosis) with two years in nuclear medicine, or MD (Bio-Physics) or similar with radiation or nuclear medicine diploma.

Experience

  • At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident, Tutor, Demonstrator, Registrar, Assistant Professor, or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-speciality.

  4. Perform assigned duties.

Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like, Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s) etc. or any other information, separately against each claim in pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 1 MB for the respective aforesaid modules and 2 MB for the “UPLOAD OTHER DOCUMENT” module and is legible when a printout taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module.

Application Fee

Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
