Nature of Posting : The post is permanent. Teaching Specialist sub Cadre of Central Health Service Group- “A”.
Pay Scale
Level- 11 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.
Job Descriptions
- Impart theoretical and practical instructions to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Conduct and guide research work in the specialty.
- Render patient care in the specialty.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the authorities from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
40 years for URs/EWSs, 43 years for OBCs, 45 years for SCs/STs, 50 years for PwBDs.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have a
MBBS degree
Post-Graduate degree in the concerned specialty or super specialty mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute. i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Neonatology); or Diplomate National Board (Neonatology); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years’ special training in Neonatology; or Diplomate National Board(Paediatrics) with two years’ special training in Neonatology.
Experience
Three years teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar or Assistant Professor or Lecturer in the concerned Speciality or Super-Speciality in a recognized teaching institution after obtaining the first Postgraduate degree

Selection Procedure
Performance in Interview. Date for the interview on which the shortlisted candidates are Required to bring the printout of their online application along with other documents at UPSC shall be intimated separately.

Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like, Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s) etc. or any other information, separately against each claim in pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 1 MB for the respective aforesaid modules and 2 MB for the “UPLOAD OTHER DOCUMENT” module and is legible when a printout taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module.
Application Fee
Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of any bank or by using Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment.
