SAIL Sarkari Naukri 2024 : Selection Procedure
- Selection of provisionally eligible candidates will be through Computer Based Test (CBT) & Interview or Interview only.
- Eligible candidates will be notified through Admit Card/Call Letter, Email/SMS, and SAIL website.
- If CBT is conducted, the admit card will be available for download on the SAIL website.
- The CBT will consist of 150 multiple choice questions divided into two segments: 50 on Domain/Professional Knowledge and 100 on Aptitude Test.
- The minimum qualifying marks in CBT will be 50 percentile for Unreserved posts and 40 percentile for SCs/ST/OBC(NCL) for reserved posts.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit, at a ratio of 1:3 for each post/discipline.
- If multiple candidates obtain the cut-off marks, all will be called for the interview.
- There will be no qualifying mark in the interview in case of CBT.
- The final selection will be based on a merit list drawn by combining the marks of CBT and Interview with a weightage of 80:20 respectively.
- In case of a tie in the cut-off marks, the candidate with higher marks in the eligibility qualification will be selected.
- If the selection is through interview only, the minimum qualifying marks will be 50% for unreserved posts and 40% for posts reserved for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD.
