Ernakulam, March 7, 2024: The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) District Office in Ernakulam has released a provisional list of candidates eligible for the post of Lower Division Typist (Recruitment by Transfer, Category No. 726/2022) in various departments. The selection is based on the OMR Test conducted on August 12, 2023, and the pay scale for the post is Rs. 26500-60700.1
The provisional list, also known as the Probability List, contains the register numbers of candidates arranged numerically. However, this arrangement does not indicate their respective ranks based on the test. The total number of candidates in the Main List and the Probability List is 32 each.
Candidates who have secured 36.4 marks and above are included in the Probability List. The list has been prepared by including the number of candidates who have secured top marks in the OMR Test.
Candidates included in the Probability List are directed to be present for verification of original documents as per a schedule to be published shortly. They are required to produce a Community Certificate issued by the Revenue authority at the time of One Time Verification (OTR).
It is important to note that inclusion of register numbers in this list is purely provisional, subject to scrutiny and admission of application on an absolute basis. Inclusion of register numbers in the Probability List does not confer any right on the candidate for inclusion in the Ranked List.
As per the existing procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed, but answer scripts can be rechecked after the publication of the Ranked List. Detailed instructions will be published in the Ranked List for the post.
Candidates can apply for a copy of answer scripts of the OMR Test held on August 12, 2023, by remitting the prescribed fee after approval of the Ranked List. Candidates whose register numbers are invalidated are advised to refer to Notification No: ERXVI(2) 4443/2023/EW dated January 16, 2024.
