Contractual Vacancies Open for AOCP Trade Ex-Apprentices
Pune, Maharashtra – Ordnance Factory Dehu Road (OFDR), a unit of Munitions India Limited (MIL) under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has released an official advertisement inviting offline applications for the engagement of 50 Tenure Based Danger Building Worker (DBW) personnel. This recruitment drive is specifically aimed at candidates with an AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant) trade background.
The engagement will be on a contract basis for an initial period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of four years, subject to the factory’s requirement and the individual’s performance.

Essential Qualification and Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following mandatory educational and trade-specific qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass)
- Trade Qualification: Must possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) (erstwhile NCTVT).
- Trade Specific Requirement: Applications will be accepted only from candidates having AOCP Trade Apprenticeship from:
- Ordnance Factories (erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board)
- Government/Private Organizations having affiliation from the Government.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The age of the candidate will be reckoned as on the last date of receipt of the application.
- General Category Age Limit: Between 18 and 40 years.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 05 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 03 years
- Ex-Serviceman: Period of Military Service + 03 years
