Secretary: The Chief Executive Role
The Secretary serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Board and is responsible for its overall affairs, including administration, finance, and implementation of all resolutions passed by the Executive Committee.
- Essential Qualification: A Degree in Engineering from a recognized and premier Institution/University.
- Experience: Minimum 25 years of experience in the areas of Water Resources, Power Sector (Generation/Transmission/Distribution), Renewable Energy, and allied fields.
- Seniority: Must have held a senior position not below the rank of Executive Director in a Scheduled ‘A’ CPSE or its equivalent in the central, state, or private sector for a minimum period of two years.
- Maximum Age: 62 years as on the specified cut-off date.
Director (Power): Driving Sectoral Development
The Director (Power) will be responsible for spearheading technical activities related to the power sector, including organizing conferences, training programs, and overseeing publications.
- Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. (Electrical) or M.E./M.Tech. (Electrical/Power System) from a recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in the Power Sector, with a strong background in technology, policy, and operations.
- Seniority: Should have held a position of responsibility equivalent to Chief Engineer or General Manager in a relevant Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) or Government Department.
- Maximum Age: 60 years as on the specified cut-off date.
