    Oil India Limited Recruitment 2025: Advisors and Consultants in Defence & Security Coordination

    Overview

    Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking, is looking to engage 2 Advisors and 2 Consultants on a contract basis for defence and security coordination at its onshore and offshore sites. The engagement period is for two years, extendable by another one year.1 2

    Key Details

    Positions Available

    • Advisor (Offshore Defence & Security Co-ordination): 1 position
    • Advisor (Onshore Defence & Security Co-ordination): 1 position
    • Consultant Field Officer (Offshore Defence & Security Co-ordination): 2 positions (1 in Port Blair, 1 in Kochi)

    Remuneration & Facilities

    • Advisors (Offshore & Onshore): ₹187,500 per month (lump-sum, inclusive of local conveyance, telephone, internet expenses). GST will be extra and borne by the company. Income tax will be deducted.
      • Daily allowance of ₹2,000 per day for domestic official tours.
      • 20 days paid leave per 12 months (non-cumulative and non-encashable).
      • Normal company holidays applicable.
      • No other assignments with other organizations allowed during engagement.
      • Travel, boarding, lodging, and local conveyance extended for official tours outside the place of posting.
    • Consultant Field Officer (Offshore Defence & Security Co-ordination): ₹150,000 per month (lump-sum, inclusive of local conveyance, telephone, internet expenses). GST will be extra and borne by the company. Income tax will be deducted.
      • Daily allowance of ₹1,800 per day for domestic official tours.
      • 20 days paid leave per 12 months (non-cumulative and non-encashable).
      • Normal company holidays applicable.
      • No other assignments with other organizations allowed during engagement.
      • Travel, boarding, lodging, and local conveyance extended for official tours outside the place of posting.

    Tenure of Engagement

    • All positions: 2 years, extendable by another 1 year.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Advisor (Offshore Defence & Security Co-ordination)

    • Essential Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate or equivalent.
    • Eligibility: Retired Indian Navy Officer.
    • Experience Profile:
      • Minimum 25 years of service in the Indian Navy.
      • Desirable exposure to offshore Oil & Gas and maritime administration.
      • Knowledge of International Maritime Law, Offshore Security Policy making, HSE resolutions, ISPS Code, SOLAS, UNCLOS & other maritime regulations.
      • Experience in liaison and coordination with various Central Govt. Agencies/Ministries (Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard, NDRF, Coastal Police, State Intelligence Units & Port Authorities).
      • Understanding of Cyber Security functions and ability to manage security issues is an added advantage.
    • Desired Skill Sets: At least 15 years of managerial administrative experience including regulatory compliance, emergency response, threat assessment etc..
    • Age: Minimum 50 years, Maximum 60 years as on the last date of application receipt.
    • Working Location: Corporate office, Noida, and all offshore E&P areas of Company’s operations within the Country.

    Advisor (Onshore Defence & Security Co-ordination)

    • Essential Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate or equivalent.
    • Eligibility: Retired Indian Army Officer.
    • Experience Profile:
      • Minimum 25 years of service in the Indian Army.
      • Desirable exposure to onshore Oil & Gas E&P Activity.
      • Experience in liaison and coordination with various Central Govt. Agencies/Ministries (Armed Forces, Paramilitary Forces, NDRF, Central/State Police & Intelligence Units etc.).
    • Desired Skill Sets: At least 15 years of managerial administrative experience including regulatory compliance, emergency response, threat assessment etc..
    • Age: Minimum 50 years, Maximum 60 years as on the last date of application receipt.
    • Working Location: Corporate office, Noida, and all onshore E&P areas of Company’s operations within the Country.

    Consultant Field Officer (Offshore Defence & Security Co-ordination)

    • Essential Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate or equivalent.
    • Eligibility: Retired Indian Navy Officer.
    • Experience Profile:
      • Minimum 10 years of service in the Indian Navy.
      • Desirable for offshore oil & gas, maritime.
      • Knowledge of International Maritime Law, Offshore Security Policy making, HSE resolutions.
      • Liaison with Local Government authorities/Ministries, Coast Guard, Coastal Police etc..
    • Age: Minimum 40 years, Maximum 50 years as on the last date of application receipt.
    • Working Location: Port Blair (1 position), Kochi (1 position).

    Selection Process

    Selection will be based on personal interaction with a Selection Committee. Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the Personal Interaction through e-mail with the scheduled date and time. Candidates are advised to mention a valid e-mail ID and mobile number.

    Important Dates

    • Last Date for Receipt of Application: 23:59 hours of August 9, 2025.
