Vacancy Details1
The Netarhat Vidyalaya Samiti intends to recruit 18 teachers with a pay scale of 56100-177500 (Level – 10) plus other applicable allowances as per the rules of the Government of Jharkhand. The vacancies are distributed across various subjects as follows:

Benefits and Allowances
In addition to the salary, the selected candidates will be eligible for free semi-furnished accommodation. Those appointed as house masters will receive free boarding for up to three family members, provided they dine with the students at fixed times. House masters will also receive an allowance of Rs 3000 per month. If the spouse of the house master (who is not working) takes up the responsibility of Kitchen In-Charge, they will be paid Rs 5000.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 1000 for General and OBC category candidates and Rs 300 for EWS/SC/ST category candidates.
Age Limit
The upper age limit varies according to the category of the candidate:
- General/EWS: 40 years
- Backward Class and Most Backward Class: 42 years
- Women (General/Backward Class/Most Backward Class): 43 years
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Men/Women): 45 years
Physically handicapped candidates from all categories will be provided an age relaxation of 5 years for the respective posts. The age of superannuation for teachers is 60 years.
Applicants from Advertisement No.-01/2021 will receive a one-time age relaxation of 3 years (maximum upper age limit as of 01.01.2021). They do not need to pay any fee for applying against the same post in Advertisement No.02/2024, but they must apply again for the given post in Advt No.-02/2024. 2
Educational Qualification and Eligibility
Candidates must have a Graduate Honours degree with at least 50% marks and a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject from a university recognized by U.G.C. They should also have a B.Ed. degree from any institution recognized by NCTE. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English, other than language subjects, is mandatory.
Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of four phases:
- Shortlisting based on academic qualifications.
- Written test.
- Classroom teaching demonstration.
- Interview.
