The Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI), an apex society of entities in the hydrocarbon sector, is inviting applications from talented, passionate, proactive, and self-motivated individuals with proven leadership abilities for induction at the top-management level. A prestigious opportunity has arisen for the position of Director (Exploration & Production). The successful candidate will act as an interface between upstream oil companies and the government, advocating on policy issues related to upstream. They will also coordinate with industry members, governments, and various stakeholders to work towards the sustainable growth of the upstream oil sector in India.

Position: Director (Exploration & Production)
Roles & Responsibilities
The Director will be responsible for advocacy pertaining to the Upstream Oil Industry, policy analysis and implementation, and supporting international oil equity investment initiatives of Indian Companies. They will also be expected to coordinate with member companies for sharing the “Best Practices” in the industry, provide forums for deliberating issues of common interest to industry members, and enhance revenues through a self-sustaining model in areas of knowledge sharing, research, etc.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: 62 years (as on the date of the publication of the advertisement)
Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Geo-Science(s) or a Degree in Engineering with in-depth knowledge of sector-specific policies and practices.
Experience: At least 20-25 years’ relevant experience in the upstream oil & gas sector preferably related to policy and planning. The candidates (serving/retired) holding the position of Executive Director/E-9 level (in Oil & Gas PSUs) or equivalent in private organizations are eligible to apply for this position.
