Pay Scale of the Post
The selected candidate will receive remuneration in the scale of Rs.180000 – 340000 (IDA) along with other allowances, perks, and privileges.
Appointment Type
The appointment will be on a Direct Recruitment / Deputation basis for a period of 5 years or till the date of superannuation, whichever is earlier.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The appointed Director will be a member of DMRC’s Board of Directors, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Key responsibilities include overall project planning, design architecture, tendering, contracting, administration, supervision of construction and commissioning. The role also involves project monitoring, interface management, quality assurance, safety protocols adherence, cost control measures implementation and overseeing land acquisition and rehabilitation processes.
Eligibility Criteria
- As on 01.02.2024
- Confirmed employee status; probationary employees are not eligible.
- Age Limit:
- Internal Candidates: 45 years with 2 years residual service.
- Other Candidates: 45 years with 3 years residual service.
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution.
- Experience: Minimum five years in planning and construction of multi-disciplinary railway projects including land acquisition and rehabilitation processes.
