Walk-In Interviews Scheduled for September 18th to Fill Temporary Positions at Bhavnagar Institute
Bhavnagar, Gujarat – The Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI), a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, has announced a walk-in interview event to recruit research staff for a significant project. The interviews will take place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the institute’s campus in Bhavnagar.
Project Aims to Identify Seaweed Cultivation Sites Across India
The recruitment drive is for the CSIR-sponsored research project HCP0024-Phase III, which is titled “Identification of Potential Locations across India for Seaweed Cultivation (IPL-ISeaC).” This project is a crucial initiative aimed at exploring and identifying suitable locations for seaweed cultivation across the Indian coastline. The selected candidates will work on specific work packages (WP-02, WP-03, and WP-04) of the project.
Positions Available and Interview Details
The institute is seeking qualified candidates for a total of four temporary positions. The details for the posts and the interview schedule are as follows:
- Senior Project Associate: One (01) Post
- Project Associate-I: Two (02) Posts
- Project Assistant-II: One (01) Post
The walk-in interviews will be held on September 18, 2025, from 9:15 AM to 11:50 AM at the CSIR-CSMCRI campus located at Gijubhai Badheka Marg, Bhavnagar-364002, Gujarat, India.
