पात्रता मापदंड
अनिवार्य शैक्षणिक योग्यता
उम्मीदवारों के पास निम्नलिखित में से कोई एक योग्यता होनी अनिवार्य है:
- बी. एस. सी. (आतिथ्य एवं होटल प्रशासन) में उत्तीर्णता।
- या
- स्नातक तथा होटल मैनेजमेंट में पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिप्लोमा में उत्तीर्णता।
आयु सीमा (दिनांक 01.08.2025 को)
सभी उम्मीदवारों के लिए न्यूनतम आयु 21 वर्ष निर्धारित की गई है। अधिकतम उम्र सीमा इस प्रकार है:

आयु सीमा में छूट:
- दिव्यांगजनों को अधिकतम उम्र सीमा में

- बिहार सरकार के नियमित रूप से नियुक्त सरकारी सेवक, जो तीन वर्षों की निरंतर सेवा पूर्ण कर चुके हों, उन्हें अधिकतम आयु सीमा में
वर्षों की छूट अनुमान्य है।
रिक्तियों का कोटिवार विवरण
आरक्षण का लाभ केवल उन्हीं उम्मीदवारों को मिलेगा, जिनका स्थायी निवास बिहार राज्य में है (अर्थात् बिहार के मूलवासी)। बिहार राज्य के बाहर के निवासी अभ्यर्थियों को आरक्षण का लाभ देय नहीं होगा।

आरक्षण संबंधी प्रमाण-पत्र
ऑनलाइन आवेदन में आरक्षण का दावा करने वाले बिहार के मूलवासी उम्मीदवारों को निम्नलिखित प्रमाण-पत्र जमा करना अनिवार्य होगा:

महत्वपूर्ण नोट:
- पिछड़ा एवं अत्यन्त पिछड़ा वर्ग के उम्मीदवारों को केवल जाति प्रमाण-पत्र के आधार पर आरक्षण का लाभ नहीं मिलेगा; क्रीमीलेयर रहित प्रमाण-पत्र संलग्न करना अनिवार्य है।
- महिला अभ्यर्थियों हेतु जाति एवं क्रीमीलेयर रहित प्रमाण-पत्र पिता के नाम एवं पता सहित निर्गत होना अनिवार्य है।
- किन्नर / कोथी / हिजड़ा/ट्रांसजेंडर (थर्डजेंडर) को पिछड़े वर्गों को मिलने वाले आरक्षण का लाभ देय होगा।
चयन की प्रक्रिया एवं परीक्षा योजना
चयन प्रक्रिया लिखित प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा (Computer Based Test – CBT) के आधार पर होगी।

न्यूनतम अर्हतांक (Minimum Qualifying Marks)
प्रतियोगिता से बाहर न होने के लिए, उम्मीदवारों को लिखित परीक्षा में अपनी कोटि के अनुसार निम्नलिखित न्यूनतम अंक प्राप्त करना अनिवार्य होगा:

महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश
- ऑनलाइन आवेदन में अभ्यर्थी द्वारा भरी गई सूचनाओं को मूल प्रमाण पत्र/अंक पत्रों से मिलान करने के क्रम में किसी भी प्रकार की त्रुटि पाये जाने पर संबंधित आवेदक की अभ्यर्थिता रद्द कर दी जाएगी।
- ऑनलाइन आवेदन में आरक्षण के इंगित कॉलम में आरक्षित कोटि / निःशक्तता/स्वतंत्रता सेनानी के पोता-पोती, नाती-नतिनी होने का दावा नहीं करने पर उनसे संबंधित आरक्षण एवं अन्य लाभ अनुमान्य नहीं होंगे।
- आरक्षण कोटि में सुधार/बदलाव पंजीकरण के उपरांत नहीं किया जा सकेगा।
- विज्ञापन से संबंधित सभी प्रमाण-पत्र और अंक-पत्र दिनांक-10.11.2025 तक का निर्गत होना अनिवार्य है।
- ऑनलाइन आवेदन में अपलोड किए गए सभी प्रमाण-पत्रों/अंक पत्रों की हार्ड कॉपी आवेदक के पास सुरक्षित होनी चाहिए और दस्तावेज सत्यापन (Document Verification) के समय मूल रूप से प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य होगा।
- धुँधला / अस्पष्ट/काला/अपठनीय दस्तावेज / प्रमाण-पत्र अपलोड होने पर दस्तावेज सत्यापन के समय भी अभ्यर्थित्व समाप्त करने हेतु आयोग स्वतंत्र होगा।

Eligibility Criteria
2.1 Educational Qualification (Mandatory)
Candidates must possess one of the following essential educational qualifications:
- Pass in B.Sc. (Hospitality and Hotel Administration).
- OR
- Graduation and a pass in Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management.
2.2 Age Limit (as of 01.08.2025)
The minimum age for all candidates is 21 years as of August 1, 2025. The maximum age limits are as follows:

Note on Age Relaxation:

Required Documents for Reservation
Candidates claiming reservation must possess valid certificates issued by the competent authority up to the final application date (10.11.2025). Key requirements include:
- SC/ST: Caste Certificate and Permanent/Domicile Certificate.
- BC/EBC: Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for the purpose of the Government of Bihar) and Permanent/Domicile Certificate. A mere Caste Certificate is not sufficient for BC/EBC reservation.
- EWS: Income and Asset Certificate and Permanent/Domicile Certificate.
- Women Candidates: For SC/ST and BC/EBC women, the Caste/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate must be issued with the Father’s name and address.
- Transgender/Kinner/Kothi/Hijra: Eligible for reservation benefits applicable to the Backward Classes (BC).

Important Instructions
Only those certificates mentioned and uploaded in the online application will be accepted during the Document Verification (DV) process.
The merit list will be prepared following the Normalization process if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.
Candidates must upload all required certificates (Educational, Caste, Domicile, etc.) in the correct column of the online application. Failure to upload any certificate may lead to the cancellation of candidature.
No change/correction in any entered information, including reservation category, will be allowed after registration.
Candidates must keep at least five extra copies of the photograph uploaded on the application form.
