The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Gorakhpur, has released a detailed rolling advertisement (ADVT.NO. AIIMS/GKP/RECT/FACULTY/2025-26/284) for the recruitment of 88 faculty positions (Group-A) across various departments. Applications are invited from Indian nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders for posts on a Direct Recruitment, Deputation, or Contractual basis.1
The advertisement opened on September 27, 2025, and the closing date for applications is October 26, 2025.

- Only Professor and Additional Professor posts are applicable for recruitment on a Deputation basis. The maximum age limit for these posts on deputation is 58 years and 56 years, respectively.
- Retired Faculty from Institutes of National Importance (INIs) and Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) up to the age of 68 years are eligible for contractual appointment.
Age Limits (as of 26/10/2025)
- Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 years.
- Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 years.
- Age relaxation is available for specific categories (SC/ST: 5 years; OBC: 3 years).
Application Fee (Non-refundable)
- General/OBC/EWS category: Rs. 2,000/-.
- SC/ST category: Rs. 500/-.
- The fee is exempted for Retired Faculty (contract basis), those applying for the post on Deputation basis, and PwD category candidates.
Candidates must submit their application through the designated Google form link by October 26, 2025, and also send the signed printout along with all self-attested documents by Speed/Registered Post to the Recruitment Cell, AIIMS Gorakhpur, by the same deadline.2
