Ranchi, Jharkhand – The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has issued an urgent press release regarding the backlog appointment process for Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist positions at Birsa Agricultural University and its affiliated colleges. The commission has declared one candidate for the Agronomy discipline ineligible after a thorough review of their application. JPSC has also provided a clear window for the candidate to submit a claim with supporting proof.

Ineligible Candidate Given Final Opportunity to Submit Claim

Under advertisement number 13/2023, JPSC is conducting backlog appointments for Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist positions in various subjects at Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, as well as the agricultural colleges in Garhwa, Godda, and Deoghar. During the review process, one application received for the Agronomy discipline was scrutinized based on the eligibility criteria outlined in clause-04 of the advertisement. The candidate was subsequently found ineligible for the position.

How to Submit a Claim for Reconsideration

JPSC has published the list of ineligible candidates, along with the reasons for their disqualification, on its official website. If the concerned candidate believes they are eligible and that the commission’s decision is incorrect, they may submit their claim with supporting documents. The claim must be sent to the email address bauobjection@jpsc.gov.in by September 19, 2025. The JPSC has made it clear that no claims received after this final deadline will be considered.

Important Notice: Certificates Issued After the Application Deadline are Invalid

The commission also reminds all candidates that the last date for submitting online applications was May 14, 2023. Any certificate issued after this date will not be considered valid for this specific recruitment process. This is a crucial point for all applicants as it plays a significant role in determining eligibility.1
