New Delhi — The Ministry of Ports Shipping and Waterways has issued a vacancy circular to fill the crucial position of Development Adviser (Ports) within its Development Wing. The circular, dated August 21, 2025, invites applications for the General Central Service Group ‘A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial post.
The position offers a competitive salary package, corresponding to the pre-revised scale of Pay Band 4: Rs. 37,400 – Rs. 67,000, with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000 (as per the 6th CPC). This is equivalent to Level 14 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The appointment will be made on a deputation basis, including a short-term contract, for a period of three years, or one year in the case of a short-term contract.
