Eligibility Criteria
Upper Age Limit

Essential Qualifications
Candidates must have a medical qualification listed in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. They must also be registered with the Central/State Medical Council and hold a postgraduate degree like MD/MS/DNB in the relevant specialty or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. A valid pass certificate for the qualifying degree is required as of the last date for receiving applications.
Department-Specific Qualifications
- Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, Medical Gastroenterologist, Medical Oncology, and Nephrology: Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Medicine.
- Burns & Plastic Surgery, CTVS, Neurosurgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology and Urology: Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MS in General Surgery and Allied, ENT from a recognised University/Institute.
- Neonatology: Post Graduate Medical Degree like, MD in Paediatrics.
- Trauma & Emergency: MD in Medicine, MS in General Surgery & Allied and Orthopaedics.
- Pulmonary Medicine: MD in Chest and TB or MD in Medicine.
- Endocrinology: MD in Medicine & Pediatrics.
For Medical and Non-Medical Candidates
Some departments are open to both medical and non-medical candidates. For example:

The selection process is a walk-in interview at the Administrative Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS-Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh.
