    IIT Bombay to Conduct Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026

    Key Details Announced for JAM 2026

    IIT Bombay is the organizing institute for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2026. This exam is designed to facilitate admissions into Masters programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for students pursuing a career in science.

    Examination Format and Test Papers

    The JAM 2026 will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT). It will be conducted across seven different test papers:

    • Biotechnology (BT)
    • Chemistry (CY)
    • Economics (EN)
    • Geology (GG)
    • Mathematics (MA)
    • Mathematical Statistics (MS)
    • Physics (PH)

    Application Dates and Information

    Candidates must apply ONLINE within the specified window.

    • Application Start Date: September 5, 2025
    • Application End Date: October 12, 2025
