The fee payable for the application is ₹100/-. The good news is that women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from fee payment.

• Candidates who need to make corrections to their application form can do so during the two-day correction window, allowing up to two attempts for modification.
• A uniform correction charge of ₹200/- applies for the first correction, and ₹500/- for the second correction.

Massive Recruitment: 7,565 Tentative Vacancies

The examination aims to fill a substantial 7,565 vacancies for the post of Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police. The vacancies are provisional and liable to change. A significant portion of the vacancies, 4,408, are designated for Male candidates, while 2,496 are for Female candidates. Additionally, there is a 10% reservation for Ex-servicemen in each category of male constable.

Essential Educational Qualification

The basic qualification required is 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized Board, as of the closing date of the application (21-10-2025).

• Relaxation: The educational qualification is relaxable up to 11th passed for the sons/daughters of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police Personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff of Delhi Police, and for certain Delhi Police personnel like Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc..
• Driving License: Male candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Motorcycle or Car) as on the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT). A Learner License is explicitly not acceptable.

The age limit for candidates is 18-25 years as of 01-07-2025. Age relaxation is permissible for different categories:

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will be appointed on Pay Level-3 of the pay matrix, which ranges from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100/- (Group ‘C’).

Examination Scheme and Bonus Incentives

The selection process involves three stages: a Computer-Based Examination (CBE) conducted by the SSC, followed by a Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT), and finally, a Medical Examination—all three of which will be conducted by the Delhi Police. The CBE will be an objective-type multiple-choice paper with 100 questions carrying 100 marks.

Selection Process

• Computer-Based Examination (CBE): Conducted in English and Hindi. Questions will cover General Knowledge/Current Affairs, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Computer Fundamentals.
• Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT): This stage is qualifying in nature and will be conducted by the Delhi Police in Delhi after the CBE result.
• Document Verification (DV): Carried out at the time of PE&MT by the Delhi Police.

Bonus Marks and Incentives

Candidates possessing NCC Certificates or a Degree/Post Graduate Diploma from the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) are eligible for additional marks in the CBE.

• ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस: पुरुष उम्मीदवारों के पास शारीरिक सहनशक्ति और मापन परीक्षण (PE&MT) की तारीख को LMV (मोटरसाइकिल या कार) के लिए एक वैध ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस होना चाहिए। लर्नर लाइसेंस स्पष्ट रूप से स्वीकार्य नहीं है।

NCC प्रमाणपत्र या राष्ट्रीय रक्षा विश्वविद्यालय (RRU) से डिग्री/पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिप्लोमा रखने वाले उम्मीदवार CBE में अतिरिक्त अंकों के लिए पात्र हैं।
