NABCONS (NABARD Consultancy Services Private Limited) is recruiting for Project Based Contract Staff for their “Setting up of PMU for Digitisation and monitoring of FPOs by NABCONS” project. They are inviting online applications from Indian citizens for two positions: Senior Level Consultant – Agriculture (1 post) and Junior Level Consultant (2 posts).1

- Junior Level Consultant: 2 vacancies (1 in Bihar, 1 in Telangana)
- Project Goal: To establish a Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) for effective monitoring of promotional interventions for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) using a digital platform, building real-time data on FPO business activities, and ensuring their commercial sustainability.

Responsibilities of Consultants:
The consultants will be involved in FPO digitization, including onboarding and updating FPO data on the NABFPO Portal, providing guidance to POPIs, communication and coordination, and data validation. They will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluation, data analysis and reporting, coordination for the CSS integrated portal, facilitating FPO interface with other stakeholders, ONDC registration, e-NAM and NCDEX, and networking and collaboration.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Junior Level Consultant (02 Posts):
- Educational Qualification: MBA/Graduate in Agriculture / Agri business with IT background.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in promoting or financing farmers’ collectives/ Agri business activities/ Agri Marketing / Value Chain Management. Must be proficient in MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Age: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years as on the date of application.
- Place of Posting: Patna, Bihar and Hyderabad, Telangana.
- Remuneration: Rs 35,000/- to Rs 45,000/- per month.
- Senior Level Consultant – Agriculture (01 Post):
- Educational Qualification: MBA/Graduate in Agriculture / Agri business with IT background.
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in FPO promotions or Financing/Value Chain Management/Agri Marketing. Must be proficient in MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
- Age: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years as on the date of application.
- Place of Posting: Mumbai, Maharashtra.
- Remuneration: Rs 55,000/- to Rs 65,000/- per month.
Contract Period:
The initial contract is for one year, with renewal for the second year subject to performance review. The first three months will be a probation period during which NABCONS can terminate services without notice. Thereafter, a 3-month notice period is required for termination by either party.
Other Facilities:
These include daily allowance, halting allowance, lodging allowance, medical insurance, PF contribution, mobile/internet/data charge, and permissible absence (24 days per year). Travel by 3rd AC is permitted, with 2nd AC/Air/taxi/Cab on a need basis with prior approval.
Important Notes:
Candidates are not permitted to take up other employment or assignments during the contract period.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which may assess proficiency in MS Office/data management.
Self-attested copies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, and a medical questionnaire must be submitted at the time of the interview, with original documents required for verification.
NABCONS will not provide accommodation for selected candidates.
