Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
Officials working in the following offices/sectors are eligible for appointment on deputation:
- Government Officials: Officers of the Mines and Geology cadre of the Government of India or any other State Government.
- Public Sector Undertakings: Officers from Public Sector Undertakings related to mining and geology of the Government of India and State Governments, such as Coal India Limited, Geological Survey of India, Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited, etc.
Specific Eligibility by Post
- For Additional Director (Mineral Development): Officials holding Pay Level-13 or equivalent.
- For Deputy Director (Mineral Development): Officials holding Pay Level-12 or equivalent.
Salary and Remuneration
- Deputed officers will receive salary based on their original pay along with all admissible allowances.
Period of Deputation
- The deputation period will be for 03 years or until the age of 59 years, whichever is earlier.
- The deputation period may be reduced or extended as per requirement.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on an interview conducted by the departmental committee.
