Dehradun, Uttarakhand – The National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities (NIPVD), a body under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Govt. of India, has released an advertisement for several consultant positions on a purely contractual basis. The institute, located at 116, Rajpur Road, Dehradun, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for these roles.

Vacancy Details and Remuneration
The available positions are on a Short Term Contract Basis with a fixed monthly remuneration and a contract duration of 3 years. The last date for receipt of applications is September 21, 2025.
Position-wise Breakdown:
- Physiotherapist (Consultant)-CD-EIC: This position has one vacancy (UR – Unreserved) with a fixed remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- Speech Therapist (Consultant)-CD-EIC: There is one vacancy (UR) for this role, also with a fixed remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- Occupational Therapist (Consultant): Similar to the above, this post has one vacancy (UR) with a fixed remuneration of Rs. 35,000/- per month.
- Trained Caregiver (For CD-EIC): This role has the highest number of vacancies, with two positions (UR) available. The fixed remuneration for this position is Rs. 20,000/- per month.
The maximum age limit for all applicants is 56 years as of the last date of application.

- The contract period is temporary and is subject to the continuation of the project.
