Advertisement for a Key Engineering Position in Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company
Bhopal, September 10, 2025 – The Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited (MPUDC), a public undertaking of the state government’s Urban Development and Housing Department, has issued an advertisement for a key position. The company, headquartered at 5, Amarkantak Bhavan, Indira Press Complex, M.P. Nagar, Bhopal-11, is inviting applications for the post of Chief Engineer.
Recruitment for a Single Vacancy
The notification, bearing the reference number MPUDC/PMU/2025/6902 and dated September 8, 2025, seeks to fill the single post of Chief Engineer. This position will be filled either on deputation (pratiniyukti) or on a contractual basis (sanvida). Due to it being a single vacancy, the state government’s reservation rules will not apply to this recruitment.
Application Details and Eligibility
The selected candidate will be offered a salary in the pay scale of ₹1,41,800 to ₹2,14,700.
For Deputation Candidates:
Officials currently working in departments under the Government of Madhya Pradesh or the Government of India are eligible to apply. They must submit their applications through their Head of Department, along with a no-objection certificate and all other necessary documents, using the prescribed application format.
For Contractual Candidates:
The initial contract period will be for a maximum of three years. The contract will be renewed annually, contingent on a performance review, for a maximum of two renewals. The total contract period cannot exceed the age of 65 years.
Special Provisions for Retired Officials
Retired government employees are also eligible to apply on a contractual basis. Their salary will be calculated as a lump-sum amount after deducting the dearness relief and pension amount (before commutation) from their last drawn basic pay and dearness allowance.
