3. Pay Scale:
- Initial Pay: Rs. 18,000/- (Pay Level-1 in 7th CPC) for both Points Man and Track Maintainer-IV.
4. Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: 18 to 45 years as of August 1, 2025.
- Age relaxation applies for SC & ST candidates (5 years, up to 50 years) and Ex-servicemen (3 years for UR & EWS, 8 years for SC & ST).
- Land Loser Definition: Only land loser candidates whose land was acquired for the KRCL project (between Roha, Maharashtra and Thokur, Karnataka) are eligible. This includes the land loser themselves, their spouse, son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter.
- Educational Qualification: 10th pass from a recognized board.
5. Recruitment Process:
The selection process involves:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Medical Examination (ME)
- CBT (Tentative): September 2025. The CBT will be in five languages (English, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, and Kannada) and includes negative marking (one-third of marks deducted for each wrong answer).
- Qualifying Marks (CBT): 40% for UR & EWS, 30% for SC & ST.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds (one chance).
- Female: Run 400 meters in 3 minutes and 10 seconds (one chance).
- PET is qualifying in nature.
