Call for Applications: Nomination of Architect for the Council of Architecture
Overview
The Government of Jharkhand, through its Department of Higher & Technical Education, is inviting applications from eligible and interested candidates for nomination as an Architect to the Council of Architecture. This nomination is made under Section 3(3)(f) of the Architect Act, 1972, for an autonomous statutory body of the Government of India.1

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this nomination, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Professional Status: An architect working in the Government of Jharkhand, or a person employed in any Architectural Institution of Jharkhand, or an architect in private practice in Jharkhand.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must possess valid registration with the Council of Architecture.
- Domicile: The Architect must have domicile of Jharkhand.
- Experience: The Architect must have at least ten years of experience in employment or practice.

- Application Method: Eligible and interested candidates are required to send their applications by Speed Post.
- Required Documents: All documents related to eligibility criteria mentioned above must be annexed with the application.
- Addressing the Application: Applications should be addressed to:The Joint Secretary,Higher & Technical Education Department,3rd Floor, Yojana Bhavan, Nepal House Complex,Doranda, Ranchi- 834002.
- Exemption: Candidates who have already submitted an application in response to the earlier Press Communique vide departmental letter 489 dated 27.05.2025 need not apply again.
