CPCB Recruitment Drive Under Namami Gange Programme
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), operating under the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), has announced a recruitment drive for various project-based positions. The applications are for 21 contractual posts under the “Pollution Inventorisation Assessment & Surveillance (PIAS) CPCB” project, which is part of the Institutional Development Component of the Namami Gange Programme.
Vacancy Details
Applications are being sought for a total of 21 positions across four distinct roles. The breakdown of the vacancies is as follows:

Contractual Terms and Application Process
The initial project term is set until March 31, 2026. However, the tenure may be extended based on the project’s requirements and the candidate’s performance. It is important for all applicants to note that these are contractual positions and do not grant any right to claim regularization or absorption into the regular vacancies of the CPCB.
