शैक्षणिक अर्हता

- मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/बोर्ड से 10+2 (जीव विज्ञान एक विषय के रूप में रहा हो) में उत्तीर्णता।
- इसके अतिरिक्त, संघ अथवा बिहार अथवा अन्य राज्य सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से दंत स्वास्थ्य विज्ञानी (डेंटल हाईजिनिस्ट) में 02 वर्षीय डिप्लोमा।
- बिहार राज्य दंत परिषद् से निबंधित डेंटल हाईजिनिस्ट होना।

आयु सीमा में छूट:
- दिव्यांगों को अधिकतम उम्र सीमा में 10 वर्षों की छूट अनुमान्य है।
- बिहार सरकार के नियमित सरकारी सेवक जो 3 वर्षों की निरंतर सेवा पूर्ण कर चुके हों, उन्हें अधिकतम आयु सीमा में 5 वर्षों की छूट अनुमान्य है।
- बिहार राज्य के सरकारी अस्पतालों/संस्थानों में संविदा पर कार्यरत दंत स्वास्थ्य विज्ञानी के पद पर नियोजित अभ्यार्थियों को उक्त नियोजन की अवधि के समतुल्य अवधि की छूट दी जा सकेगी।
चयन की प्रक्रिया एवं शुल्क
चयन आयोग द्वारा लिखित प्रतियोगिता परीक्षा (Computer Based Test) एवं कार्यानुभव के आधार पर किया जाएगा।
आवेदन शुल्क
प्रत्येक अभ्यर्थी को मात्र ₹100/- (एक सौ रूपये) परीक्षा शुल्क जमा करना होगा। यह शुल्क ऑनलाइन मोड (डेबिट कार्ड/क्रेडिट कार्ड/इंटरनेट बैंकिंग/UPI) से जमा किया जाएगा।

लिखित परीक्षा का विवरण:
- कुल 100 प्रश्न होंगे।
- सभी प्रश्न बहुविकल्पीय वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकृति के होंगे और हिन्दी एवं अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओं में होंगे।
- परीक्षा की अवधि दो घंटे की होगी और कुल अंक 100 होंगे।
- नकारात्मक अंकन (Negative Marking) लागू होगा: प्रत्येक सही उत्तर के लिए 01 अंक, और प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 0.25 अंक काटा जाएगा।
- न्यूनतम अर्हतांक (Minimum Qualifying Marks) सामान्य वर्ग के लिए 40%, पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए 36.5%, अत्यंत पिछड़ा वर्ग के लिए 34% और SC/ST/महिला/दिव्यांग उम्मीदवारों के लिए 32% निर्धारित है।
आरक्षण एवं आवश्यक प्रमाण-पत्र
आरक्षण का लाभ उन्हीं उम्मीदवारों को मिलेगा, जिनका स्थायी निवास बिहार राज्य में है (बिहार के मूलवासी)।
आरक्षण का दावा करने वाले उम्मीदवारों को ऑनलाईन आवेदन के समय सक्षम प्राधिकार से निर्गत संबंधित प्रमाण-पत्र उपलब्ध होना अनिवार्य है।

दस्तावेज सत्यापन (Document Verification)
- लिखित परीक्षा में उत्तीर्ण (Qualified) अभ्यर्थियों को ही दस्तावेज सत्यापन (Document Verification) हेतु आमंत्रित किया जाएगा।
- ऑनलाइन आवेदन में उल्लेखित और अपलोड किए गए सभी प्रमाण-पत्र/अंक पत्र दिनांक 10.11.2025 तक का निर्गत होना अनिवार्य है।
- दस्तावेज सत्यापन के समय केवल वही प्रमाण-पत्र/अंक पत्र स्वीकार किए जाएंगे जो अभ्यर्थी द्वारा ऑनलाइन आवेदन में अपलोड किए गए हैं।
- सभी प्रमाण-पत्रों को मूल रूप से प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य होगा।

Age Relaxation:
- A 10-year relaxation in the maximum age limit is allowed for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
- Government servants of Bihar who have completed three years of continuous service are eligible for a 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for moving to a higher pay scale service.
- Candidates duly appointed on a contract basis as Dental Hygienist in State Government Hospitals/Institutions in Bihar or non-private hospitals will be given a relaxation equivalent to their period of service.
Selection Process and Application Fee
Selection will be based on a Written Competitive Examination (Computer Based Test) and Work Experience.
Application Fee
Every candidate must pay an examination fee of ₹100/- (One hundred rupees). The fee must be submitted through Online Mode only (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI).
Merit List Preparation (Total 100 Marks)
The merit list will be prepared as follows:

Written Examination Details:
- The question paper will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
- The questions will be in both Hindi and English.
- The examination duration will be two hours and total marks will be 100.
- Negative Marking will be applied: 1 mark for every correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- The minimum qualifying marks in the written exam are: 40% for the General category, 36.5% for Backward Class, 34% for Extremely Backward Class, and 32% for SC/ST, Females, and PwD candidates.
Reservation and Required Certificates
Reservation benefits are admissible only to candidates whose permanent residence is in Bihar State (i.e., those who are natives of Bihar).

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Candidates must upload a recent photograph (within three months) with a clear face and eyes, and a white background.
- No modification or correction to the entries made in the online application will be allowed in the future.
