M/s. Rail lnfrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Limited was incorporated as a Joint Venture Public Limited Company on 22/11/2000 under the Companies Act, 1956. Based on the directives of the Ministry of Railways, the Company was restructured as a State Joint Venture with equity participation between Government of Karnataka and Ministry of Railways at 51:49 ratio vide Revised Share Holders Agreement dated 17/10/2018.4
Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) was accorded formal sanction by CCEA (Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs) ln October, 2020. K-RIDE (Rail lnfrastructure Development Company (Karnataka) Limited a Special Purpose of Vehicle (SPV) and the Joint Venture Company of the Ministry of Railways and Government
of Karnataka is executing the flagship project which envisages construction of 04 corridors with a total route length of 148.17 Kms.
K-RIDE is a Joint venture of Government of Karnataka and the Ministry of Railways. It has been created to boost “Rail Infrastructure Projects” in the state of Karnataka on the principle of cooperative federalism.
Currently, the joint venture has been mandated with the critical responsibility of executing the flagship Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) and two large doubling projects.
Headquartered in Bangalore, K-RIDE aims to become a benchmark in executing Rail based infrastructure projects in an agile, innovative and qualitative manner.
