Pipavav Railway Corporation Ltd. (PRCL) is the 50:50 Joint Venture Company of Indian Railways and the Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd (GPPL), set up to construct, maintain and operate 271 kilometers long broad gauge railway line connecting Port of Pipavav to Surendranagar Junction of Western Railway, in the state of Gujarat.
PRCL is the first infrastructure modal of Public – Private Partnership in rail transportation.
PRCL is accorded the status of a Zonal Railway Administration under The Railways Act, 1989.
