Government of India’s Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics Opens Applications; Last Date October 17, 2025
The Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N), an autonomous scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has initiated a recruitment drive for the engagement of 100 Young Professionals on a purely contract basis.
The total of 100 vacancies is split across two categories: Young Professional-I and Young Professional-II, targeting recent graduates and postgraduates in computer science, IT, and data-related fields. The age limit for applicants is set between a minimum of 22 years and a maximum of 26 years as of the last date for submission of the application.
Terms of Engagement Highlights
The engagement is entirely on a contract basis and comes with a clear framework for professional conduct and growth:
- Period of Engagement: The initial contract will be for one year, extendable annually for up to four more years, subject to the organization’s requirements and satisfactory performance of the candidate.
- Emoluments and Increment: In addition to the fixed monthly emoluments, Young Professionals will be eligible for an annual increment of up to 10% based on their performance review.
- Professional Conduct: Appointees are required to adhere to the standard working hours and days of BISAG-N employees. They must also comply with the laws of secrecy, sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before reporting, and adhere to the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
