Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. Invites Applications for Graduate Engineers and Assistant Officers
NUMALIGARH, ASSAM – Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a subsidiary of M/s Oil India Limited (OIL), has announced career opportunities for dynamic young professionals. The company, which is a Schedule A and Category – I Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, is seeking applications for the positions of Graduate Engineer Trainees and Assistant Officer Trainees.
Company’s Expansive Growth and Diversification
NRL currently operates a 3.0 MMTPA Refinery at Numaligarh, in the district of Golaghat, Assam, along with Marketing Terminals at Numaligarh and Siliguri. The company is in the process of a major capacity expansion project to increase its refinery from 3.0 MMTPA to 9.0 MMTPA. This expansion project also includes the construction of a cross-country crude oil pipeline from Paradip in Odisha to Numaligarh in Assam and a Crude Oil Import Terminal at Paradip Port in Odisha. Additionally, NRL is establishing a 2G Ethanol Plant at Numaligarh, utilizing bamboo biomass as feedstock, and is setting up a 360 KTPA Polypropylene Plant to diversify into petrochemicals.
