    Ranchi, Jharkhand – The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released an important public notice regarding the regular appointment of Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist positions at the Dairy Technology College in Dumka, under Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke, Ranchi. The notice, advertisement number 17/2023, details the evaluation of applications and the subsequent disqualification of certain candidates.

    Evaluation and Disqualification Details

    According to the notice, the JPSC evaluated the eligibility of applicants based on the criteria outlined in paragraph 4 of the original advertisement.

    • Dairy Chemistry Branch/Subject: Out of the one application received, it was found to be eligible.
    • Dairy Technology Branch/Subject: Both of the two applications received for this branch were declared ineligible for various reasons.

    The list of disqualified candidates has been published on the commission’s official website.1

    Opportunity for Appeal

    Disqualified candidates who wish to challenge their disqualification have been given a chance to submit a claim with supporting proof.

    How to Appeal

    Candidates must send their claims along with all supporting documents via email to bauobjction@jpsc.gov.in. The deadline for submitting these appeals is September 19, 2025. Any claims received after this date will not be considered.

    The notice also clarifies that any certificate issued after the last date for online application, which was July 5, 2023, will not be considered valid.
