Jharkhand Government Seeks Experienced Architects for Council of Architecture Nomination : Press Communique Issued by Higher & Technical Education Department
Ranchi. The Government of Jharkhand’s Department of Higher & Technical Education has issued a press communique inviting applications from eligible and interested architects for nomination to the Council of Architecture. This nomination is for a position on the autonomous statutory body, as outlined under Section 3(3)(f) of the Architect Act, 1972.
Key Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the nomination, applicants must meet the following strict criteria:
- Professional Standing: The applicant must be an architect either working for the Government of Jharkhand, employed at an architectural institution within Jharkhand, or in private practice within the state. They must also have a valid registration with the Council of Architecture.
- Domicile: The candidate must be a domicile of Jharkhand.
- Experience: A minimum of ten years of professional experience in employment or practice is mandatory.

The domicile certificate must be issued by the competent authority of Jharkhand. The press communique was officially signed by Joint Secretary to the Government, Department of Higher & Technical Education.1
