Application Deadline Extended for Uttarakhand Sanskrit University Vice-Chancellor Position
DEHRADUN — The deadline to apply for the Vice-Chancellor position at Uttarakhand Sanskrit University Haridwar, has been extended. The Uttarakhand government’s Sanskrit Education Department announced the change in an urgent notice dated August 25, 2025.
Originally, the last day to submit applications for the post was August 25. This has now been pushed back to September 1, 2025. The notice, issued by Deepak Kumar, Secretary of the Sanskrit Education Department, stated that the decision was a partial amendment to the previous advertisement.
Candidates who meet the required qualifications can now submit their applications, along with supporting documents, until 6:00 PM on September 1 via registered or speed post. The forms must be sent to the Convener, Search Committee/Secretary, Sanskrit Education Department at Room No. 205, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Bhawan, 04 Subhash Road, Dehradun-248001.
Alternatively, applicants have the option to email a scanned copy of their documents to secy-sansedu@uk.gov.in by midnight on the same day. The notice specifies that any applications received after the new deadline will not be considered.1
