Jharkhand Public Service Commission Releases Provisional Scores for Hindi Assistant Professor Recruitment

Ranchi, Jharkhand — The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has published the provisional scores and registration numbers for candidates who applied for the regular recruitment of Assistant Professors in Hindi. This recruitment is for various postgraduate departments and constituent colleges within the state’s universities, as advertised under advertisement number 04/2018.

As per the JPSC’s decision, and in accordance with clause 6(iv) of the advertisement, the provisional merit list includes five times the number of candidates for the category-wise vacancies. This move aims to ensure a sufficient pool of eligible candidates for the interview round. The provisional scores are now available on the official JPSC website, www.jpsc.gov.in.1

Candidates whose provisional scores have been published can view their marks by entering their date of birth and registration number.

    How to Raise an Objection

The JPSC has also opened a window for candidates to submit objections if they believe their published score is incorrect.

    • Who can object? Any candidate who feels they should have received a higher score based on supporting evidence, or those who claim to have scored at or above the cut-off marks mentioned in clause 6(ii) of the advertisement.
    • How to submit? Objections must be sent via email only to ap42018@jpsc.gov.in. The email should include the necessary information using the format provided on the JPSC website, along with supporting documents or mark sheets.
    • Deadline: All objections must be submitted by August 28, 2025. Any emails received after this date will not be considered.
    • Important Note: The commission will only accept objections submitted through the specified email address. Objections sent through any other medium will not be considered.

Further information regarding the next steps, including the interview schedule, will be announced after the commission has reviewed all submitted objections.
