Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Scientific Officer ‘D’ (CSSD): M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology with 50% marks, preferably with a Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Hospital Management. Requires 15 years of experience in a 150+ bedded hospital’s CSSD, or 10 years in a 300+ bedded hospital, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior position.
• Scientific Officer ‘D’ (Speech Therapy): M.Sc. (Audiology & Speech therapy) or equivalent qualifications with 2 years of experience in Cancer rehabilitation.
• Medical Physicist ‘C’: M.Sc. (Physics), a Diploma in Radiological Physics or equivalent AERB-approved qualifications, and a Certification of Radiological Safety Officer from AERB. Requires 1 year of clinical experience as a Medical Physicist with state-of-the-art technology.
• Scientific Officer ‘C’ (HLA & Immunogenetics): M.Sc. (Life Sciences / Applied Biology) with at least one year of experience in Molecular Biology. Ph.D. candidates are preferred.
• Scientific Officer ‘C’ (Nuclear Medicine): M.Sc. with PGDFIT or DMRIT from Homi Bhabha National Institute OR M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine Technology. The candidate must have passed the RSO examination of BARC and have a minimum of 1 year of experience after completing the PG Diploma or M.Sc. in Nuclear Medicine.
• Scientific Officer ‘SB’ (Biochemistry): M.Sc. (Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology) and preferably a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institute. Requires at least 1 year of experience (after P.G.) in a Clinical Laboratory of a large Hospital/Diagnostic Centre.
• Scientific Officer ‘SB’ (Biomedical): B.E. / B. Tech (Biomedical) with 3 years of experience, including 1 year in a hospital setup.
• Scientific Officer ‘SB’ (Haematopathology): Post Graduation Degree in Biological Sciences including Biotechnology or equivalent, with 1 year of experience in a Haematopathology laboratory or clinical flow cytometry.
• Scientific Officer ‘SB’ (Pathology): M.Sc. (Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry/Applied Biology/Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Microbiology) or M.Tech (Biotechnology/Life Sciences) with minimum 60% marks and a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institute. Requires at least 1 year of experience in a Histopathology, Immunohistochemistry, and/or Molecular Pathology diagnostic laboratory of a large hospital/diagnostic centre.
• Scientific Officer ‘SB’ (Transfusion Medicine): M.Sc. (Biochemistry/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Microbiology) with a minimum of 50% marks and a Degree/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/Blood Bank Technology from a recognized institute. Requires 1 year of experience in a relevant field in an FDA licensed Blood Bank.

Age Limit

Age and experience will be calculated as of 22/09/2025.

• Scientific Officer ‘D’ (CSSD): Minimum 45 and Maximum 50 years.
• Scientific Officer ‘D’ (Speech Therapy): 40 years.
• Medical Physicist ‘C’, Scientific Officer ‘C’, and Scientific Officer ‘SB’ posts: 35 years.

Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

• SC/ST: 5 years.
• OBC: 3 years.
• PwD: 10 years, with an additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
• TMC employees: Maximum of 5 years.
