Jharkhand Public Service Commission Extends Application Deadline for Assistant Public Prosecutors
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced a significant change for candidates applying for the position of Assistant Public Prosecutor. The commission has extended the application deadline for Advertisement No. 05/2025 and 06/2025 following a directive from the Hon’ble High Court.
In light of the court’s order in W.P.(S) No.-7773 of 2025 and W.P.(S) No.3529 of 2025, the last date to apply offline for the 160 posts (134 regular and 26 backlog posts) is now September 8, 2025, until 5:00 PM. This is a change from the previous deadline of August 20, 2025.
Additionally, the age relaxation eligibility cut-off date has been changed from August 1, 2024 to August 1, 2018. This adjustment allows more applicants to meet the age criteria. All other terms and conditions of the original advertisements remain unchanged.
Interested and eligible applicants are being invited to submit their applications offline. The required application form and fee payment link are available on the JPSC website at www.jpsc.gov.in. The application fee can be paid through SBI Collect using credit/debit cards, internet banking, UPI, or a challan.
Candidates must send their completed application form along with self-attested copies of all required documents by registered post, speed post, or in person to the Controller of Examinations, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Circular Road, Ranchi – 834001. The commission will not accept applications received after the new deadline.
