    Overview

    Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL) is a joint venture company of IOCL, NTPC, CIL, FCIL & HFCL. HURL was established to set up and operate Natural Gas based Fertilizer Complexes (Ammonia-Urea) in Gorakhpur, Sindri, and Barauni. HURL is seeking dynamic, hard-working, and talented professionals for various positions on both a Regular and Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis.

    Total Number of Vacancies: 65 (59 Regular + 6 FTC)

    Eligibility Criteria

    • General:
      • All qualifications must be from an Indian university/Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC or appropriate statutory authority.
      • For foreign qualifications, an equivalence certificate recognized by AICTE/Appropriate Statutory Authority is required.
      • Qualifying Degree/Diploma should be full-time and regular.
      • Candidates with qualifications through Distance Learning mode are not eligible.
      • Work experience should be post-qualification and relevant executive experience. Teaching/lectureship, part-time jobs, apprenticeship, internship, and articleship will not be considered.
      • For PSUs/Govt. Organisation employees, an NOC from the present employer/HOD is required. A notarized affidavit stating “no vigilance/disciplinary case is pending against them” can be submitted if an NOC is difficult to produce due to administrative reasons.
      • Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
      • The cut-off date for determining age limit and post-qualification experience is 30.06.2025.
      • Candidates must be working as on the cutoff date/at the time of interview.
    • Specific to Positions (Minimum Educational Qualification & Experience):
      • Vice-President (Production / Operations): Full-time Engineering Degree in Chemical/Chemical Technology with minimum 60% marks. 25 years minimum work experience.
      • Offsite & Utilities (O&U) Positions (Additional Chief Manager, Sr. Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Sr. Engineer, Engineer): Full-time Engineering Degree in Chemical/Chemical Technology/Mechanical with minimum 60% marks. Required experience in operations of offsite & utilities in Fertilizer/continuous process/chemical plant/Petrochemical/Refinery/powerplant.
      • Ammonia Plant Positions (Engineer, Sr. Engineer, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager): Full-time Engineering Degree in Chemical/Chemical Technology with minimum 60% marks. Required experience in Ammonia plant operation in fertilizer Industry.
      • Urea Plant Positions (Engineer, Sr. Engineer, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager): Full-time Engineering Degree in Chemical/Chemical Technology with minimum 60% marks. Required experience in Urea plant operation in fertilizer Industry.
      • Electrical Positions (Engineer, Sr. Engineer): Full-time regular Engineering Degree in Electrical with minimum 60% marks. Required experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of HT & LT power distribution system, motors, transformers, protection systems in continuous operating plants.
      • Instrumentation Positions (Engineer, Sr. Engineer, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Manager): Full-time regular Engineering Degree in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Control / Industrial Instrumentation/ Process Control Instrumentation/ Electronics & Communication / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks. Required experience in process control instrumentation in Fertilizer industry & troubleshooting of DCS/ESD/FGS systems, etc..
      • Mechanical Positions (Deputy Manager, Manager, Senior Manager): Full-time regular Engineering Degree in Mechanical with minimum 60% marks. Required experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Rotating Machines, static equipment’s, piping Networks etc. in Ammonia-Urea Fertilizer industry/continuous process/chemical plant/petrochemical plant/petroleum refinery/Power plant.
      • Contracts & Materials Positions (Officer, Manager): Full time Engineering degree (in any specialization) with minimum 60% marks OR Full-time regular MBA (Materials Management) with minimum 60% marks OR Full-Time PG Diploma in Materials Management with minimum 60% marks (02 years regular course) (Recognized as equivalent to MBA by UGC/AICTE). Required experience in material management activities preferably in Fertilizer/Chemical/Petro-Chemical/Hydrocarbon industry/PSU/Government organization.
      • Finance Positions (Sr. Manager (FTC), Manager (FTC)): CA or CMA or Two years Full Time MBA with specialization in Finance with a minimum of 60% marks (Candidates with dual specialization or General MBA shall not be eligible to apply). Required experience in a mid-management level, preferably in SAP/ERP environment.
      • Legal Position (Officer (FTC)): 3 years Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB)/ 5 year integrated law degree, Full time basis from recognized Indian University/Institute) with 60% marks. Required experience in legal, arbitration, vetting of contracts and service-related matters in a company of repute/LAW Firm.

    Selection Process

    • HURL reserves the right to revise eligibility criteria, limit applications, or conduct interviews, screening tests, written tests, trade tests, or skill tests, depending on the number of applications.

    Remuneration and Perks

      • Vice President: INR 48.30 LPA
      • Additional Chief Manager: INR 34.00 LPA
      • Sr. Manager: INR 30.30 LPA
      • Manager: INR 26.50 LPA
      • Deputy Manager: INR 21.20 LPA
      • Assistant Manager: INR 17.70 LPA
      • Senior Engineer: INR 15.90 LPA
      • Engineer/Officer: INR 14.10 LPA
    • Approximate CTC for Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Positions (per annum):
      • Sr. Manager: INR 24.50 LPA
      • Manager: INR 21.40 LPA
      • Officer: INR 12.20 LPA
    • Perquisites include Perks & Allowances, HRA (as per GOI Notification), Group Personnel Accidents Insurance.
    • Medical insurance cover is provided to employees and dependent family members over and above CTC.
    • Performance Related Pay (PRP) is applicable for regular employees, based on company’s, unit’s, and individual’s performance.

    Nature & Period of Engagement

    • Regular Positions: Selected candidates will be on probation for 1 year. Confirmation depends on satisfactory performance.
    • Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Positions: Initial contract period is 3 years, extendable by 2 years based on requirement and performance. FTC engagement is purely for a fixed tenure and does not guarantee permanent employment.
