    Pay Scale

    • Senior Resident (Medical): ₹18,750 + ₹6,600 (Grade Pay) + NPA (Non Practicing Allowance) plus other usual allowances, or revised pay scale as per 7th CPC (Level-11 of the Matrix, entry pay of ₹67,700 per month + NPA plus other usual allowance admissible under rules).
    • NPA is applicable only for Medical candidates.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Upper Age Limit (as on August 4, 2025)

    • General Category: 45 years.
    • SC/ST: Relaxable up to 5 years.
    • OBC: Relaxable up to 3 years.
    • Persons with Disabilities (PwBD):
      • General: Relaxable up to 10 years.
      • OBC: Relaxable up to 13 years.
      • SC/ST: Relaxable up to 15 years.

    Educational Qualification

    • Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination and their result declared on or before August 31, 2025.
    • If the result of the qualifying exam is declared after August 31, 2025, candidature will be cancelled.

    Certificates and Documents

    • Caste Certificates:
      • Issued by competent authority and valid for admission/job in Central Govt. Institutions.
      • Must be submitted before the interview date.
      • Otherwise, the candidate may be treated as a UR Candidate.
    • OBC Certificate:
      • Must be issued within one year of the last date of application / Date of Interview.
      • Candidate should belong to the non-creamy layer of the Central List of OBC.
    • EWS Certificate:
      • Must be issued after April 1, 2025, and be valid for the financial year 2025-26.
      • Gross annual family income below ₹8 lakh.
    • PwBD Certificate: Issued by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions and countersigned by Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital/Institution.
    • No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required from the employer at the time of interview for candidates in Government Institutions.

    How to Apply

    • Applications must be submitted online through the AIIMS Jodhpur website: www.aiimsjodhpur.edu.in.
    • Online registration started on July 14, 2025.
    • Hard copies of the application or documents should not be sent.

    Important Dates

    • Online Application Start Date: July 14, 2025
    • Last Date for Applying: August 4, 2025 (Monday) by 17:00 Hrs.
    • Qualifying Exam Result Declaration Deadline: August 31, 2025

    Application Fee

    • General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000/- + transaction charges.
    • SC/ST: ₹800/- + transaction charges.
    • PwBD: Nil.
    • Payment is online only and non-refundable.

    Selection Process

    1. Application Limit: Candidates can apply in only one department.
    2. Selection Method: Based on MCQ-based written examination and interview.
    3. Weightage Criteria:
      • Written Examination (MCQ based): 50% weightage
      • Academic Record (MBBS/BDS marks, extra attempts, Pubmend Indexed Publication): 30% weightage
      • Interview: 20% weightage
    4. Interview Shortlisting: Candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:6 (six candidates per post).
    5. Updates: List of eligible candidates for interview/written examination and selected candidates will be uploaded on the AIIMS Jodhpur website. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates.

    • Certificate showing Date of Birth (Birth Certificate/10th Certificate)
    • Class 10th & 12th Marksheet and Certificates
    • Qualifying degree certificates:
      • MBBS/BDS/M.Sc Marksheet and degree certificates
      • MD/DNB/MS/MDS/Ph.D degree certificate
      • DM/M.Ch/DNB degree certificates
    • Attempt and Internship Completion Certificate
    • Registration with Medical Council of India /State Medical Council & DCI for Dentistry candidates
    • Experience Certificate (if applicable)
    • FMGE certificate conducted by NBE (For foreign graduate)
    • Reservation category Certificate (OBC*/SC/ST/PH). *OBC candidate should belong to non-creamy layer of Central List of OBC.
    • OBC certificate issued within one year (older certificates not entertained).
    • EWS certificate issued on or after April 1, 2025, to the last date of application and valid for financial year 2025-26.
    • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Government Institution employer.
    • Publications (if any).
    • Note: Candidates failing to produce original documents will not be considered for selection.

    Terms & Conditions

    • Tenure: Initially for one year, extendable up to three years. This appointment does not guarantee permanent absorption or continued contractual appointment.
    • Termination: Appointment can be terminated by the Institute at any time. Employees can leave by giving one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof.
    • Leave Entitlement: As per Central Residency Scheme and Institute Policy.
    • Vacancies: Provisional and subject to variation. The Executive Director, AIIMS, Jodhpur reserves the right to vary vacancies.
    • Reservation: As per Government of India Policy. 4% horizontal reservation for PwBD candidates in their respective categories.
    • Full-time Position: Private practice is prohibited.
    • Work Location: Will have to work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute.
    • Conduct: Candidates must conform to the rules of discipline and conduct applicable to Institute employees.
    • Allowances: No travelling or other allowances will be paid for joining the post.
    • Disqualification: Conviction by any Court of Law or canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
    • False Information: Providing false information or suppressing material information will lead to removal from service.
    • Final Decision: The decision of the Competent Authority regarding selection is final.
    • Jurisdiction: All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Law at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).
