- Position: President
- Pay Scale: Rs.2,25,000/- (fixed) (7th CPC)
- Appointment Basis: Direct Recruitment/Deputation including short term contract/Re-employment basis
- Tenure: 5 years or until the age of superannuation (65 years at present), whichever is earlier

Applications/nominations should be sent by post to the “Administrative Officer, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Jakkur, Bengaluru 560 064” in the prescribed format along with self-attested photocopies of certificates in support of age, qualifications, and experience etc.
