The ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), located in Izatnagar-243122 (U.P.), has announced a walk-in-interview for the engagement of Professor and Assistant Professor positions. The selected candidates will be teaching Veterinary Anatomy to undergraduate students (B.V.Sc & AH).

Details of the Positions:

1. Position: Assistant Professor
   • Number of Positions: 02 (Two)
   • Emoluments: Rs. 60,000/- P.M. fixed (Likely to be revised)
2. Position: Professor
   • Emoluments: Rs. 75,000/- P.M. fixed (Likely to be revised)

Important Notes:

1. Eligible candidates may appear directly in the walk-in-interview on 23.04.2024 at 11.00 a.m. in the committee room of the Anatomy Section of IVRI.
2. No DA/TA will be admissible to appear in the interview.
3. Candidates should bring their complete bio-data with 3 copies of passport size photographs and all original and photocopies of testimonials at the time of the interview.

Age Limit, Educational Qualifications, Experience:

Position	Age	Qualification/Experience
Professor (Retd.)	Upto 70 years as on the date of interview	Essential. Doctoral Degree in Veterinary Anatomy.At least 10 years experience in the relevant subject out of which at least 8 years should be as scientist/lecturer or in an equivalent position and 2 years as a Senior Scientist/Associate Professor or in an equivalent position.The candidate should have made contribution to research/teaching as evidenced by published work with minimum of ten publications as books and /or research/policy papers/innovations and impact. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance indicator based Performance Appraisal System or an outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field. Desirable: Evidence of contribution to relevant               field               through publications/patents/citation index to suggest a vision/perspective in Veterinary/innovations and impact.
Assistant Professor	Below       35 year as on the date           of interview	Essential: Mater Degree in Veterinary Anatomy with 55% marks or equivalent at Master’s level.Qualified in NET/ICAR NET.   For the candidates holding Doctoral Degree in the discipline of Veterinary Anatomy. NET is not an essential qualification.
