Applicants are required to submit their online applications via the official website of UPSC, https://www.upsconline.nic.in .
Steps to Submit an Online Application for UPSC Online Recruitment Exam:
- Registration: Initiate your application process by registering on the One Time Registration (OTR) portal. Click on the ‘New Registration1’ button to start.2
- Verification: Post registration, log in using your Email ID, Mobile Number, or OTR ID to verify your OTR application.
- Application: Navigate to the ‘Latest Notification’ tab in your OTR application and select the examination you wish to apply for.
Monitoring Your Application Status:
- Personal Details: Review your personal information.
- Active Notifications: Apply to ongoing opportunities.
- Submission Status: Track the status of your application submissions.
- Notification: You can view the online examination notification in both English and Hindi at the provided URL: https://www.upsc.gov.in.
Candidates should fill their correct and active email addresses in the online application as all correspondence are made by the commission through email only.
While applying, the Candidates must upload the documents/certificates in support of all the claims made by them in the application like, Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualification(s) etc. or any other information, separately against each claim in pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 1 MB for the respective aforesaid modules and 2 MB for the “UPLOAD OTHER DOCUMENT” module and is legible when a printout taken. For that purpose, the applicant may scan the documents/certificates in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module.
After submitting the Online Application, the candidates are generally required to take out a print out of the finally submitted Online Recruitment Application to bring the same when called for interview.
